Job Description:

*This position is eligible for remote work*

Under limited supervision, but in accordance with established policies and procedures this position will be responsible analysis, problem-solving, support and implement enterprise application solutions for each facet of the organization. This includes installation, maintenance, enhancements, vendor relations and support of enterprise applications from back end to the user/customer interface. The Applications Administrator will partner with business units throughout the organization to assess user/customer needs, research, recommend solutions, enhancements, integrations.

  • Moderate to High knowledge of system design, implementation and user support principles and practices.
  • Participate and build strong relationship with the support channels to ensure they have the required information and skills to assist users on enterprise applications.
  • Support and lead escalated enterprise applications issues from support channels to IT or appropriate vendor.
  • Serve as technical resource as needed for the development team and application vendors.
  • Familiar with project management principles.
  • Moderate knowledge and experience with database design and management.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to communicate non-technical information to a technical audience.
  • Monitor application portfolio and vendor communications on a regular basis to ensure timely updates and fixes to enterprise applications.
  • Coordinate and provide assistance for interface maintenance and support
  • Participate in current state and future state activities related to enterprise applications.
  • Create documentation related to enterprise applications
  • Partner with business units to develop test scripts, test plans and test workshops
  • Technical mentorship and technical guidance to others in enterprise applications
  • Coordinate software and hardware upgrades
  • Demonstrate understanding of how applications integrate and network implications such as certificates, DNS, etc.
  • Lead teams on design of application integrations.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert and administer to applications and understand how the organization uses the applications..
  • Recommendations and/or apply fixes considering the user experience as it relates to the voice of the customer , voice of the employee and the voice of the business.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of the application functionality, integrates, controls or demonstrate ability to find the answer or solution.
  • Knowledge of the company’s product lines.
  • Responsible to ensure all system security needs are met through partnership with Infrastructure and Information Security Officer. This includes design of user access/permissions, following Change Control Standards i.e., including tracking, documenting and assessing risk. Ensure the production/test environments remain optimized.
  • Will support corporate and department level initiatives, offering application expertise, reporting, research, and a variety of other tasks.
  • Provide will Tier 3 Support to business unit SMEs.
  • Must be proficient in writing/maintaining documentation for knowledge database.
  • Maintains vendor relationships and acts as the liaison for owned applications.
  • Keeps strong pulse on improving applications and user experience as it relates to the business units applications.
  • Bring forth new ideas and initiatives including but not limited to process improvements and inefficiencies to address key opportunities and risks.
  • Critical role in assisting Lean Office and other application related enhancements.
  • Coordinating with the groups of business unit who test, validate, evaluate new applications and functions, and determine issues in services and software.
  • Responsible for overseeing application portfolio to ensure upgrades and enhancements are realized.
  • Ability to review application documentation to identify the design, change, beneficial enhancements, impactful changes that affect applications, products and experience.
  • Practical knowledge of the business unit’s applications and how they perform in a Virtual Desktop environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Responsible for upholding all credit union ethical standards.
  • Represents the credit union in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Responsible to know and uphold the Department’s Standards of Service.
  • Responsible to fit member (internal & external) interactions within our Brand Frame.
  • Perform other essential job functions as required or assigned.
  • Travel between Achieva locations required.
  • On Call 24/7
  • Ability to produce moderate adhoc reporting.
  • Ability to manage moderate to small projects.


Experience and Skills:

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent combination of specialized technical training and work experience.

Required Experience:

  • 3 years application support
  • 1 year project management
  • Familiarity with financial retail products preferred
